Thanks to Rock Lake Lodge‘s remote location, you never have to travel far for lake or stream fishing. Rock Lake is small, deep and home to giant lake trout, pike and bull trout. The streams feeding into the lake are full of trout and rocky mountain white fish, and are surrounded by rock-bottom riffles, shallow flats, and old growth spruce forests. Rock Lake Park has pleasures for novice and veteran fishers alike.
Rock Lake Provincial Park is an amazing place for trail riding, with an extensive network of trails connecting the park to the neighbouring Willmore Wilderness Area and Rock Lake – Solomon Creek Wildland Park.
Riding the trails is a great way to see the area. On your ride, you can expect to travel through forest and valley, and view the area from elevated trails. Sharp-eyed riders can also see a variety of birds and wildlife.
Rock Lake Lodge’s guided trail rides depart from the stables down the road.
